I just discoverd that Prairie Business Magazine, a business magazine covering North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota, can be found online.

The cover story from the most recent issue includes some quotes from Secretary of Agriculture and former ND governor Ed Schafer.  Other highlights:

• Massive wind projects for ND and MN
• Record earnings for Bank of North Dakota
• Regional leaders (including Xcel Energy Principal Manager Mark Nisbet, Senator Kent Conrad by video feed, Governor John Hoeven, North Dakota University System Chancellor William Goetz, and others) discuss future economic growth

And others.  This is a really great magazine.  I’m glad it’s online.

I also discovered that UND has a literary magazine called North Dakota Quarterly.  There’s some nice work (of an entirely different nature) here, too.  I especially like the poetry.
