  • Companies including Microsoft, which added 500 jobs to its Fargo campus last year, are recognizing the quality of our workforce and expanding operations.  Highly skilled positions and excellent salaries are available to those wishing to make their home here.
  • North Dakota ranks #2 for the most affordable cost of doig business in the nation, and Forbes consistently ranks Bismarck and Fargo among the top places for business and careers.
  • We consistently rank as one of the safest states and offer a quality of life that is tough to beat–short commutes, clean air, good schools, and diverse recreational and cultural opportunities.
  • North Dakota is truly becoming a destination with tourism growth of 655 percent since 1990.  Almost one-quarter of visitors travel over 1,000 miles to experience our state.
