According to this article, Williston Basin Interstate Pipeline Co. is planning to build a pipeline to carry natural gas from the Bakken formation to the Alliance Pipeline in Bottineau County.  The Alliance Pipeline will move the gas the rest of the way to Chicago to be sold.  The new pipeline will be about 100 miles long and can transport 200 million cubic feet a day.
