A recent conversation about some of the old buildings in Europe got me thinking about North Dakota’s much more recent (but still historic) buildings.  I was thinking specifically of the Custer House, which I remembered being told was haunted.  Curiousity got the better of me again, and I had to go looking to see if I could verify that.

Here’s what I found.  If you scroll down to Mandan, you will find the Custer House listed.  I just had no idea there were so many places like that in North Dakota.
